Happy New Year! The holidays were a busy time for Sweetie Pie Soaps. We had fun at the Christmas craft show and met lots of new customers. Now we’re all excited about trying out some new products (watch the website for details.) 
This time of year seems to be about New Year’s Resolutions. Mostly we make resolutions to improve ourselves. Work harder, eat healthier, and exercise more. You get the idea. And many of us fail to keep our resolutions, leaving us feeling bad about ourselves.
So we wanted this year to be different. We like you “just the way you are,” as Mr. Rogers used to say. If you want to make a change for the New Year, how about doing something nice for yourself? Take that expensive sweater out of the box and wear it. Buy nice sheets. Take that trip you’ve always wanted to take.
As you know, we happen to like soap, so we are working on more soap products that look and feel great. They make us feel pampered and special. With that in mind, we have decided to devote our semi-annual sale, January 1 through January 31, to all of our Shea Butter soaps. In this harsh winter weather (it was twenty below zero this past weekend) Shea Butter nourishes and moisturizes our skin. Our Silky Shea soap happens to be a classic favorite of customers. It is great for all skin types.
So that’s what we want for all of you, this year. Something to make you feel better. Life is short. Use the good stuff.
