November is all about transformation, especially here in the upper Midwest. All around us are reminders that we are all constantly in a state of change. Over the summer, here at SweetiePie soap, we have experienced some profound changes in our lives. These changes have been both good and bad, and these experiences have changed us.
As we reflect on these changes, we think of soap, of course. In making our soap, we begin with various plant based oils and butters. First we mix the ingredients and pour the result into a mold. While mixing, a process called saponification takes place, transforming the ingredients into rich, creamy bars of soap. It is a mixture of chemistry and craft, but it seems like magic.
We are changed, but you can follow us through that change. Through these changes, we have learned how important family is. We strive to make sure your family will get the best products from us. You will truely know where your soap comes from. Where your products are made and sent from. Who makes your products, and how the business is run. We care about the quality of our products just as much as you do.
So as we near the end of our hiatus, we watch the last golden leaves fall and wait for the first swirl of snowflakes. We think about all that has happened and all that is going to happen, and prepare for our return to soap making. We are transformed.
