We scent our soap with essential oils

This July we want to introduce you to what puts the scent in our soap, our essential oils.

In The Past…

When we started making soap years ago, we used various essential oils that we bought all over. We were never quite sure of the origin, or the quality of the essential oil. We used some fragrance oils, some essential oils, some blends. Then we started doing our research.

Our Values Formed Our Products

When we started this company, we decided that one of our values would be ensuring we make natural products. This value meant that we no longer would even consider using fragrance oils. Fragrance oils are artificially created oils to mimic a particular scent or feeling. Some companies use fragrance oils as there is more variety and they are less expensive however we decided we don’t want anything artificial in our products. We only use essential oils and essential oil blends in our products. Essential oils are naturally derived and extracted from parts of a plant, and essential oil blends are a mix of various essential oils to get a particular smell. We have recently been working on switching all our essential oils to one brand.

What Essential Oils We Use

In celebration of Independence Day, on July 4th we will be launching our Simply Earth essential oils. These essential oils on our website are the same brand of essential oils we use in our products. You can be sure that these essential oils are high quality and pure. When we buy these essential oils to use in our soap and sell to you, we are helping to end human trafficking. 13% of profits through Simply Earth are going to causes that help end human trafficking.

So before you go out and celebrate on July 4th be sure to check out our website for the essential oils. Essential oils can be used for so many things and if you need some ideas of what to do with your essential oils make sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for some inspiration!

As always, stay clean!
