It’s December- Search The Skies

Let’s face it – December is just one big holiday. There are the biggies – Christmas, New Years, Hanukah
and Kwanza. But there are also so many little, fun ones such as “Festivus for the Restivus,” World Pear
Day and National Ugly Sweater Day (Friday, Dec. 16, in case you wanted to wear yours.) Whatever you
choose to celebrate, enjoy all of the December holidays to the fullest.

One of our favorite holidays, Winter Solstice, occurs on December 21, 2022 for the Northern Hemisphere.
On the Winter Solstice, we have our shortest day and longest night of the year in terms of daylight. The
sun’s gradual decrease in the sky reverses upon the winter solstice, marking what many cultures believe to
be a “rebirth” of the sun as the hours of daylight become longer. People celebrate this day in all kinds of
ways, but we like to take baths with our famous Winter Solstice soap.
Allow us to send you off this December with a quote from Anonymous, “May you never be too grown up
to search the skies on Christmas Eve.”
With love from your friends at Sweetie Pie Soaps
