Soap On The Go

The pandemic has left us all feeling confined and restless. Perhaps you have decided it is time to venture out, a little or a lot. Don’t forget your soap. It probably gets tired of sitting in the same old spot, in the shower or next to the sink. Here are a few places you might take your natural soap and tips to make it easy.

Camping

Oh, the joy of the great outdoors. But perhaps you do not want to damage the environment with runoff from commercial soaps. It is far better to use soaps made from natural ingredients. Whenever possible, pour your soapy water into the soil, and not fresh water sources.

The Gym

You go to the gym to take care of your health. Instead of using whatever commercial cleansing products they provide, bring your own small sized soaps or shampoo bars. Keep them in your gym bag and it will smell terrific.

Travel

Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, you may have a busy schedule, moving from place to place. Instead of worrying about travel restrictions and liquid soap or body wash leaking all over your carefully packed clothes, take soap scraps or cut a bar of your favorite natural soap into little pieces and take it along. You can even get some aromatherapy benefits by taking your favorite essential oil scents. Don’t forget the clean, summery scent of our wild lemon collection.

Your backpack or purse

We have all become hyper-aware of the germs lurking in public restrooms. Most of them have liquid soap dispensers, but these are typically loaded with chemicals and can also become contaminated. Keep some soap slivers or soap scraps in a small bag or tin in your purse, backpack, or car.

Go out into the wide, wide, world and have fun! Happy Fourth of July.
